Mint Dal Chutney

Ingredients

Mint leaves
- 1 bunch
•
Coriander leaves
- ½ bunch
•
Ginger
- 1 inch piece
•
Garlic (peeled)
- 3 flakes
•
Green chillies
- 5
•
Thuar dal
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
•
Sugar
- 1 teaspoon
•
Lemon
- 1
•
Oil (for seasoning)
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Roast
thuar dal
in ¼ Teaspoon of
oil
until golden.
2. Pluck,
wash
coriander
,
mint leaves
properly.
3.
Peel
,
chop
ginger
and
garlic
into pieces.
4.
Powder
roasted
dal
in mixie and then
add
rest of the
ingredients
and
grind
to chutney consistency.
5. Squeeze
lemon
at the end.
6.
Heat
little
oil
and season
mustard seeds
in it.
7.
Add
to chutney and
mix
well.
