Methi Chicken

Ingredients

Methi leaves (fresh, chopped)
- 2 cups
•
Onion
- 1
•
Tomatoes
- 3
•
Green chillies
- 5
•
Garlic
- 5 cloves
•
Chicken (cut into pieces of your choice)
- 1 kg
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
•
Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon
•
Curd
- 1 cup
•
Pure ghee
- 1 teaspoon
(optional)
Method
1.
Grind
together
onion
,
tomatoes
,
green chilly
&
garlic
. Use little
water
required.
2.
Heat
a nonstick pan.
Add
ground paste
&
cook
,
stirring
occasion till nearly dry.
3.
Add
washed
chicken
&
cook
on high flame,
stirring
for 2-3 minutes.
4.
Add
methi
,
salt
and
garam masala
.
Cook
for 1-2 minutes so that
methi
gets kind of fried.
5.
Add
curd
&
keep
stirring
till it boils.
6. Lower
heat
.
Cover
and
cook
for 7-8 minutes or till
chicken
is tender.
7.
Heat
ghee
&
pour
over
chicken
just before
serving
. (optional)
