Ingredients

Green gram dal/Thuar dal (dehusked)
- ½ cup
•
Fenugreek leaves
- 3 bunches
•
Salt
- as required
•
Milk
- ½ cup
•
Onion (chopped)
- 1
•
Garlic
- a few
(optional)
Ingredients For Grinding To Smooth Paste

Coconut (grated, fresh)
- ¼ cup
•
Poppy seeds
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Melon seeds
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Ghee
- 2 teaspoons
•
Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Preserved curd chillies
- 7
Method
1. Pressure
cook
dal
and
leaves
together with just enough
water
.
2.
Mash
well and
mix
ground paste
, fried
onion
,
garlic
,
salt
and
cook
for few minutes.
3.
Fry
the
seasonings
in
ghee
and
pour
.
4. Just before
removing
from fire
add
milk
.
