Lemon Fish With Capsicum

Ingredients

Fish (2 inch pieces - preferably fillet)
- 500 grams
•
Capsicums (sliced)
- 2
•
Onion (sliced)
- 1
•
Garlic (chopped fine)
- 6 cloves
•
Lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons
•
Ajwain/Oregano powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Jeera/Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Pepper
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
•
Water
- 1 cup
•
Cornflours
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1. In a large nonstick pan combine
water
,
lemon juice
,
salt
,
pepper
,
cumin powder
,
ajwain
powder
,
garlic
& sliced
onion
.
2.
Cover
&
cook
on medium
heat
for 3-4 minutes or till
onion
is tender.
3.
Add
fish
.
Cover
&
cook
on medium
heat
for 5-7 minutes or till
fish
is done.
4.
Remove
fish
to a
serving
dish with a slotted spoon.
5. To the pan
add
capsicum
.
Cook
for 1-2 minutes or till tender crisp.
6.
Add
1 Teaspoon
cornflour
dissolved in 1-2 Tablespoon
water
. Give one
boil
.
Pour
sauce over
fish
&
serve
hot.
