Ladies Finger Masala Curry

Ladies finger
- ½ kg
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Onions (finely cut)
- 3 tablespoons
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Red chillies
- 6
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Grams/Chutney dal (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Asafoetidas
- a pinch
•
Coriander seeds/Dhania
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
Method
1.
Grind
"For
Grinding
together"
ingredients
to smooth
paste
with minimum
water
possible.
2.
Cut
ladies finger
lengthwise into four and then into 1 ½ inch pieces. (thin and long)
3.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan and
fry
onions
till it becomes transparent.
4.
Add
ladies finger
pieces and
fry
in medium flame for few minutes. (till half fried)
5.
Add
ground
mixture
and
fry
till it becomes thick.`
