Ladies Finger Curry

Ingredients

Ladies finger
- ¼ kg
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sambar powder
- ¾ teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Coconut (fresh, grated)
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Cut
ladies finger
into ¾ inch pieces.
2.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan and
add
mustard seeds
and then
urad dal
. When it becomes golden brown
add
ladies finger
pieces together.
3.
Add
salt
,
sambar powder
and
turmeric powder
and
mix
. Then sprinkle some
water
and
cook
.
4. Close with lid and
reduce
flame.
Stir
in between.
5.
Cook
till moisture is completely absorbed and dry. Garnish with grated
coconut
and
serve
.
