Sour curd (beaten, thick)

Malabar yams/Senaikizhangus
- 2 cups

Green banana (raw)

Black pepper (fry in oil and crush coarsely)
- 1 tablespoon

Salt
- as required

Fenugreek (dry roast and powder)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon

Coconut (grated, fresh)
- ½ cup
•
Green chillies
- 2
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- few
Method
1.
Cook
vegetables
in buttermilk with
turmeric powder
till soft.(Do not
add
water
)
2.
Add
salt
,
ground paste
and
cook
for few minutes.
3.
Add
pepper
powder
and
fenugreek
powder
just before
removing
from fire.
4.
Fry
seasoning
in
coconut oil
and
add
to the gravy.
