Knol-Khol Curry

Ingredients
•
Knol-khol curries (chopped)
- 4 cups
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Coconut (grated)
- 3 tablespoons
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 2 teaspoons
•
Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Red chillies (split)
- 2
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Method
1.
Add
chopped knol-khol in the steamer vessel and
add
turmeric powder
,
salt
and
mix
with some
water
, steam the
vegetable
until it
cook
well.
Keep
aside
2.
Heat
oil
in a pan,
add
mustard seeds
, when it splutter,
add
urad dal
,
red chilly
and
curry leaves
.
3. When
urad dal
turns golden brown,
add
the shredded knol-khol and
fry
for some time.
4. Then
add
grated
coconut
,
mix
well and
remove
from flame.
Serve
with rice.
