Ingredients

Amaranth leaves/Keerais (finely chopped)
- 2 cups
•
Onions (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Garlic (chopped finely)
- 10 flakes
•
Red chillies
- 3
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- ΒΌ teaspoon
•
Sugar
- a little
•
Salt
- as required
Method
1.
Heat
oil
in a deep curved pan.
2.
Add
mustard
, broken
red chillies
and then
garlic
.
3.
Fry
for a minute and
mix
onions
.
4.
Stir
till it turns transparent.
5.
Add
washed, chopped
keerai
and
fry
for 1 or 2 minutes.
6. Sprinkle little
water
, with little
sugar
and close with lid.
7.
Stir
in between and
cook
till moisture is absorbed.
8.
Add
salt
at the end.
