Ingredients

Bananas (raw)
- 2

Red chilly powder
- ¼ teaspoon

Turmeric powder
- a little
•
Coarsely crushed pepper
- a little
•
Cumin seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Red chillies
- 2
•
Curry leaves
- few
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 2 tablespoons
•
Coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Curd (fresh, thick)
- ¼ cup
•
Salt
- as required
Method
1.
Peel
outer skin from
banana
and
cut
into 1 inch squares.
2. Immerse in
water
till required.
3.
Heat
oil
in pan, put
mustard
,
cumin
,
pepper
, broken
red chillies
,
curry leaves
and then
banana
pieces.
4.
Fry
for few minutes.
Add
turmeric powder
,
salt
and
mix
well.
5.
Add
curds
and
reduce
flame.
6.
Cook
till dry and
banana
becomes soft.
7.
Fry
coconut
till golden brown in
coconut
oil
and
add
to
curry
just before
removing
from fire.
