Tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 ½ tablespoons

Salt

Oil (for frying)
- as required
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Aniseeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Red chillies
- 7
•
Poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Aniseeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Grams (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Wash
and
chop
vegetables
into pieces.
2. Steam or pressure
cook
together.
3.
Heat
oil
in a
frying
pan,
add
mustard
,
aniseeds
,
curry leaves
and then
onion
.
4.
Fry
till
onion
turns golden brown.
5.
Add
finely chopped
tomatoes
and
fry
till it turns pulpy.
6.
Add
ground
masala
paste
and
fry
till good smell comes.
7.
Mix
cooked
vegetables
,
salt
and
cook
till it becomes thick
paste
.
8.
Serve
as a
mixing
curry
with cooked rice.
