Green Chilly Gotsu

Ingredients

Green chillies
- 10
•
Onions (big)
- 2
•
Tamarind
- small lemon size
•
Salt
- 2 teaspoons
•
Jaggery (grated)
- a little
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Asafoetidas
- a pinch
Method
1.
Cut
onions
and
chillies
into medium sized pieces.
2.
Fry
chillies
in
oil
properly and transfer
chillies
alone in a plate.
3. In the same
oil
add
seasonings
and then
cut
onions
.
4.
Stir
until
onions
are fried,
add
fried
chillies
also with that.
5. Allow to cool and
grind
to a
coarse paste
.
6.
Add
salt
,
jaggery
,
tamarind
extract and
boil
until it turns thick.
