Gonkura Pachadi With Green Chillies

Ingredients
•
Gonkura leaves
- 1 ½ cups
•
Green chillies
- 12
•
Onion (big, diced into 1 inch pieces)
- 1
•
Coriander seeds
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Fenugreek
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Garlic (crushed)
- 3 flakes
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Asafoetidas
- a pinch
•
Salt
- as required
Method
1.
Heat
little
oil
in a
frying
pan,
add
mustard
,
fenugreek
,
asafoetida
and
remove
when it splutters.
2.
Fry
coriander seeds
and
green chillies
for a minute in the same
oil
and
remove
.
3.
Fry
leaves
separately in
oil
till it shrinks.
4. First pound the
spices
and then
add
leaves
, diced
onion
,
salt
and pound to
coarse paste
.
5.
Heat
little
oil
, season little
mustard seeds
and
fry
crushed
garlic
in that
oil
.
6.
Add
to
gonkura
and
mix
well.
