Ginger Sweet-Sour Chutney

Ingredients
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- ¼ cup
•
Green chillies
- 3
•
Ginger (scrape & slice)
- 2 inch pieces
•
Tamarind (soaked & extracted)
- big lime size
•
Salt
- as required
•
Jaggery (grated)
- a little
•
Oil
- 2 teaspoons
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Asafoetida powder
- 2 pinches
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
Method
1.
Grind
coconut
,
ginger
,
green chillies
,
salt
,
jaggery
along with thick
tamarind
extract, to chutney consistency.
2.
Heat
little
oil
in a
frying
pan,
add
mustard
,
curry leaves
and then
asafoetida
.
3.
Add
ground paste
and
stir
for few minutes.
4.
Take out
, allow to cool and
serve
.
