Ingredients

Wheat flour
- 1 cup
•
Oil
- 5 tablespoons
•
Salt
- as required
(optional)
•
Water (for mixing the dough)
- as required
Method
1.
Mix
oil
to the
flour
till it blends well with the
flour
and resembles bread crumbs.
2. Sprinkle little
water
and knead to a stiff dough.
3. Pat and knead well several times.
4.
Make
even sized chapati using
wheat flour
for dredging.
5.
Heat
a tawa and place one chapati.
6. Using clean nails prick all over the chapati on top (or with a fork).
7.
Roast
without using any
oil
till crisp on one side.
8. Turn over to direct
heat
and brown the other side.
