Garlic Spicy Chutney

Ingredients

Garlic (peeled)
- 15 flakes
•
Red chillies
- 8
•
Salt
- as required
•
Lemon
- 1
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
Method
1.
Soak
red chillies
in enough
water
for 15 minutes.
2. Squeeze
chillies
from
water
,
add
salt
,
garlic
and
grind
to a smooth, thick
paste
.
3.
Heat
little
oil
in a
frying
pan, season
mustard
,
cumin seeds
and then
add
ground paste
.
4.
Fry
until raw flavour of
garlic
is lost.
5. Then squeeze
lemon
juice and
mix
well.
