Fried Kovaikkai

Ingredients

Kovaikai
- ¼ kg
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Onion (chopped)
- 1
•
Salt
- as required
•
Tamarind
- lemon size
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Wash
and
slice
into thin discs.
2.
Chop
onions
finely.
3.
Heat
more
oil
(to
fry
it faster) and
fry
sliced
vegetable
in it till it turns dark in colour.
4.
Strain
excess
oil
completely.
5.
Add
onions
and
fry
again till done.
6. Sprinkle
salt
,
chilly powder
at the end.
