Dry Fig Juice

Ingredients
•
Fig (dry)
- 50 grams
•
Jaggery (grated)
- 50 grams
•
Cardamoms
- 2
•
Lemon
- 1
•
Ginger
- ½ inch piece
•
Tulsi leaves
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Water
- 500 milliliters
Method
1.
Soak
figs
in 200 milliliter
water
for 2 or 3 hours.
2.
Crush
ginger
and
cardamom
separately.
3.
Grind
Tulsi leaves
with little
water
.
4.
Grind
soaked
figs
until smooth
paste
.
5. If it is very thick dilute with
water
and
strain
through a large eyed mesh strainer.
6.
Mix
little
water
to grated
jaggery
and
keep
in a reduced flame until
jaggery
is dissolved completely.
7. Dilute it with enough
water
add
ground
figs
, crushed
ginger
,
cardamom
,
salt
,
tulsi leaves
and squeeze
lemon
juice to it.
8.
Taste
and adjust the
water
according to sweetness required.
9.
Serve
chilled.
