Drumstick Leaves Curry

Ingredients

• • Drumstick leaves - 2 cups
• • Moong dal (cooked) - 2 tablespoons
• • Onions (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
• • Tamarind extract - a little
• • Salt - as required
• • Oil (for frying) - as required

Ingredients For Grinding Together

• • Coconut (grated, fresh) - 1 ½ tablespoons
• • Garlic - 3 flakes
• • Chilly powder - ¾ teaspoon
• • Onions (small, peeled) - 3

Method

• 1. Heat oil in a broad frying pan and fry onions till crisp.
• 2. Add washed drumstick leaves.
• 3. Sprinkle salted water and fry in medium flame till drumstick leaves is cooked.
• 4. Add cooked dal, tamarind extract, pound mixture and fry till moisture is absorbed.
