Coriander seeds
- 2 teaspoons

Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon

Fenugreek
- ¼ teaspoon

Pepper
- ½ teaspoon

Coconut (grated, fresh)
- ½ cup
•
Garlic flakes
- a few
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 2 teaspoons
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves (for garnishing)
- 1 sprig
Method
1. Dry
roast
"For
Grinding
together"
spices
each separately and
grind
along with ½ cup of grated fresh
coconut
and few flakes of
garlic
.
2.
Soak
tamarind
in enough
water
squeeze and take extract.
3.
Cook
chopped
drumsticks
and
brinjal
in diluted
tamarind
extract.
4.
Add
ground paste
,
salt
and
cook
till thick.
5. Season
mustard seeds
and
curry leaves
, in
oil
and
mix
with Sambar.
