Dal Chapati

Ingredients
•
Wheat flour
- 1 ½ cups
•
Thuar dal (cooked, mashed)
- 2 ½ cups
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Mango powder (dry)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Mix
all the
ingredients
together in a
mixing
bowl.
2. Sprinkle
water
and knead to smooth dough.
3.
Keep
closed for two hours.
4.
Make
even sized balls and
roll
out into chapati of medium thickness, using
wheat flour
for dusting.
5.
Heat
a 'tawa' and
roast
each chapati with ½ Teaspoon of
oil
for both sides.
