Ingredients

Potato
- ¼ kg

Sour curd
- 1 cup
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon

Salt
- as required
•
Dhania powder
- 2 teaspoons

Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Dahi masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
•
Coriander leaves (for garnishing)
- ¼ bunch

Ginger (dry)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cumin (roasted)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon
•
Black salt
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1. First,
make
Dahi Masala
.
Powder
each
spice
in "For
Dahi Masala
"
ingredients
separately and then
mix
together.
Preserve
in a clean dry bottle.
2. Pressure
cook
potatoes
,
peel
and
mash
.
3.
Heat
ghee in a pan,
add
cumin
,
turmeric
,
chilly
powder
,
dhania powder
,
dahi masala
and
salt
.
4.
Fry
for a minute, then
add
mashed
potatoes
.
5.
Fry
for another few minutes, then
mix
curds
and
cook
on a slow fire for 5 to 6 minutes, or till
oil
is separated.
6. Garnish with chopped
coriander
before
serving
.
