Chow-Chow Chutney

Ingredients

• • Chow-chows (finely cut) - 1 cup
• • Green chillies - 4
• • Tamarind (soaked & extracted) - small lime size
• • Coconut (grated, fresh) - ¼ cup
• • Salt - as required
• • Oil (for frying) - as required

Ingredients For Seasoning

• • Mustard seeds - ¼ teaspoon
• • Cumin seeds - ½ teaspoon

Method

• 1. Fry chow-chow pieces in little oil until it changes in colour.
• 2. Grind with other mentioned ingredients to coarse chutney consistency.
• 3. Heat little oil, season mustard, cumin and mix with chutney.
