Chicken In Mustard Cream Sauce

Ingredients
•
Chicken (cut into 8 pieces)
- 800 grams
•
Onions (chopped finely)
- 2
•
Garlic (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Milk
- ½ cup
•
Cream
- 1 ½ cups
•
Mustard paste
- 3 tablespoons
•
Pepper
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Flour/Maida
- 2 tablespoons
•
Butter
- 4 tablespoons
•
Parsley/Coriander (fresh, for garnishing)
- a little
Method
1.
Heat
2 Tablespoon
butter
in a non stick pan.
Add
the
chicken
pieces.
2.
Stir
fry
on high
heat
till the pieces are slightly brown.
3. Lower the
heat
,
add
salt
.
Cover
and
cook
till the pieces are tender.
Keep
aside.
4. In a separate pan
heat
the remaining 2 Tablespoon
butter
.
Add
chopped
onion
&
garlic
.
5.
Cook
till
onions
change colour slightly.
6.
Add
maida
.
Stir
for 1 minute on medium flame.
7.
Reduce
heat
.
Add
milk
,
cream
,
mustard paste
,
pepper
and
salt
.
Cook
on low flame till sauce thickens.
8.
Drain
the fat from the
chicken
pieces and
add
to the sauce.
Simmer
for 1 minute.
9.
Serve
hot garnished with chopped
parsley
or
coriander
.
