Ingredients

Potatoes

Onions (chopped)

Red chillies

Coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon

Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Garlic (crushed)
- 3 flakes
Method
1. Dry
roast
the "For
Grinding
together"
spices
separately and
grind
with ½ cup of grated fresh coconut, little tamarind and few pieces of
garlic
.
2.
Soak
channa
for 8 to 10 hours in
water
.
3. Pressure
cook
channa
and
potatoes
for 15 minutes.
4.
Peel
potatoes
and
cut
into big cubes.
5.
Add
ground paste
, to
potato
and
channa
along with
salt
, enough
water
and
cook
till gravy becomes thick.
6.
Fry
the
seasoning
in
oil
,
add
onions
and
fry
till golden brown.
7.
Add
to the
boiling
gravy and
cook
for few more minutes.
