Cauliflower

Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon

Sambar powder
- 2 ½ teaspoons

Salt
- as required

Sugar
- as required
•
Coconut (scraped)
- ½
Ingredients For Making Sambar Powder
•
Dhania
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Black gram dal
- 1 tablespoon
•
Bengal gram dal
- 1 tablespoon
•
Gingelly seeds
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Red chillies
- 20
•
Curry leaves
- 2 sprigs
Method To Prepare Sambar Powder
1.
Fry
all the
spices
in a teaspoon of
oil
till golden brown colour.

and
keep
.
Method
1.
Cut
Onions
into thin long pieces.
2.
Grind
the
masala
and
keep
aside.
3. Clean and
wash
the
cauliflower
thoroughly.
4.
Boil
cauliflower
with
peas
in enough salted
water
.
5.
Strain
.
6.
Heat
ghee in a pan
add
¼ Teaspoon of
cumin seeds
, when it splutters
add
sliced
onions
, and
fry
.
7. When it turns into golden brown colour,
add
ground
masala
and
fry
well till
oil
separates from it.
8. Now
add
boiled
cauliflower
and
peas
with enough
water
to
cover
.
9. When the gravy becomes thick
remove
and
serve
hot, garnished with
cut
coriander
leaves
.
