Cashew Kova

Ingredients

Cashew nuts
- ½ cup
•
Milk
- 4 cups
•
Sugar
- 2 ¼ cups
•
Ghee
- 1 cup
•
Saffron
- a few
•
Cardamom powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Kesar colours
- ¼ teaspoon
Method
1.
Grind
cashews
to smooth
paste
with little
water
.
2.
Heat
milk
,
sugar
together in a pan and
keep
stirring
till it reduces completely and becomes thick.(
add
saffron
and
kesar colour
when
milk
starts
boiling
)
3.
Add
cashew
paste
and
keep
stirring
constantly.
4.
Add
ghee
little by little and
stir
till halwa consistency is reached.
Mix
cardamom powder
.
5.
Pour
on a greased tray. Decorate with silver warq.
6.
Cut
into desired shapes.
