Cabbage And Peas Curry

Pea
- 150 grams
•
Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Cinnamon
- 1 piece

Cloves
- 3
•
Mustard
- ½ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig

Coconut scraped
- ½
•
Garlic
- 7 flakes
•
Aniseeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Red chillies

Method
1.
Cut
onions
,
tomatoes
and
cabbage
finely.
2.
Grind
the
masala
and
keep
aside.
3.
Heat
oil
in a pan, season with
mustard
,
curry leaves
.
4.
Add
onions
and
fry
till translucent.
5.
Mix
cut
tomatoes
and
fry
for few more minutes.
6.
Add
raw
cabbage
and
peas
.
7.
Fry
till
cabbage
becomes tender and then
add
ground
masala
,
turmeric
and
salt
.
8.
Pour
enough
water
and
boil
till the gravy thickens and
serve
hot with parathas.
