Brinjal Chutney

Green brinjals (long variety)

Onions (big)
- 2

Green chillies
- 6

Coconut (grated)
- ΒΌ cup
•
Grams (roasted)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Mustard seeds
- some
Method
1. Select tender
green brinjals
and
cut
into small even pieces and
soak
in salted
water
till required.
2.
Cut
onions
finely.
3.
Heat
oil
fry
green chillies
,
onions
and
green brinjals
till the raw smell goes from it.
4. Cool and then
grind
it along with other
ingredients
coarsely.
5. Season with
mustard seeds
and
serve
with Idlis or chapatis.
