Bottle Gourd Paratha

Ingredients
•
Whole wheat flour
- 2 cups
•
Bottle gourds (grated)
- 1 cup
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Ajwain/Omams
- 1 teaspoon
•
Red chillies
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Yogurt
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Coriander leaves (chopped)
- a few
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Wash
and
peel
the
bottle gourd
and
grate
it and
keep
it aside.
2. We don't need to squeeze out the
water
as we need the
water
for kneading the dough.
3. In a
mixing
bowl,
add
wheat
flour
followed by
red chilly
powder
,
cumin powder
,
ajwain
and
salt
and
mix
well.
4. Now,
add
the grated
bottle gourd
to the
mixing
bowl and knead well to
make
a soft dough.
5. Finally
add
yogurt
and chopped
coriander leaves
and knead it to a smooth dough.
6.
Roll
out in the form of paratha.
7. Toast it on a tawa till the roti becomes golden brown in both sides.
