Black Urad Delight

Ingredients

Whole black urads
- 1 cup
•
Onion
- 1
•
Milk
- 1 cup
•
Maida
- 2 tablespoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
Ingredients For Grinding Together
•
Green chillies
- 4
•
Garlic
- 3 flakes
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Coriander leaves
- ½ bunch
Method
1.
Soak
urad
in
water
for 6 to 8 hours.
2. Pressure
cook
till one whistle (do not overcook)
3.
Strain
excess
water
and
keep
aside.
4.
Cut
onions
finely.
5.
Heat
oil
and
fry
onions
till crisp,
add
ground paste
and
fry
for a minute.
6.
Heat
butter in another pan,
fry
maida
& then
add
milk
.
7.
Stir
till thick sauce is formed.
8.
Add
fried
ingredients
,
salt
and
maida
sauce to cooked gram.
9.
Cook
for few minutes and
serve
hot with chapatis.
