Big Gooseberry Chutney

Ingredients

Gooseberries (big)
- 3
•
Green chillies
- 5
•
Coconut (grated, fresh)
- 1 cup
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- a little
Ingredients For Seasoning
•
Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- ½ teaspoon
Method
1.
Remove
inner
seed
from
gooseberries
and
cut
into flakes.
2.
Chop
chillies
into 2 or 3 pieces and then
fry
both in little
oil
.
3. Allow to cool thoroughly,
add
fresh
coconut
,
salt
and
grind
to chutney consistency.
4.
Heat
little
oil
,
add
mustard seeds
, allow to splutter, and
fry
urad dal
,
mix
with chutney.
