Baby Corn In Pineapple Sauce

White onions

Baby corns

Brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons

Pineapple chunks
- ½ cup

Ajinomoto
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
White pepper powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients For Grinding To A Paste
•
Garlic
- 3 flakes
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
Ingredients For Making Pineapple Sauce
•
Pineapple juice
- ½ cup
•
Soya sauce
- 2 tablespoons
•
Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon
•
8 to 9 sauce
- 1 tablespoon
•
Corn flour
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Water
- 1 ½ cups
Method
1.
Dice
onions
,
cabbage
and
capsicums
into 1 inch cubes.
2.
Cut
mushroom
and baby com each into 2 pieces.
Wash
well using warm
water
.
3.
Heat
little
oil
, and
fry
onions
,
capsicums
with
Ajinomoto
for 2 minutes.
4.
Add
mushroom
,
baby corn
,
pineapple
pieces and
stir
for another 2 minutes.
5.
Mix
ground paste
and
keep
frying
for another few minutes till
vegetables
become tender.
6.
Mix
all the
Ingredients
: mentioned under
pineapple
sauce
together and
heat
till it becomes thick and shiny
sauce
consistency.
7.
Pour
over fried
vegetables
and
cook
for few minutes.
8.
Add
salt
,
sugar
,
pepper
and
cabbage
pieces. Switch off the stove immediately and close with a lid.
9.
Stir
gently and
serve
hot along with fried rice or noodles.
