Vermicelli and Sago Laddu

Ingredients
•
Vermicelli
- ½ cup
•
Nylon sagos
- ½ cup
•
Sugar
- 1 cup
•
Cardamom powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cashew nuts
- 10
•
Kismis
- as required
•
Ghee
- as required
•
Food colours (yellow, green, rose)
- as required
Method
1.
Fry
vermicelli
and
sago
, separately in little
ghee
.
2. Allow to cool and
powder
it in a blender.
3.
Powder
sugar
separately, in blender.
4.
Melt
ghee
, and
roast
cashew nut
and
kismis
.
5.
Pour
it over powdered
vermicelli
and
sago
.
6.
Add
powdered
sugar
.
Mix
well and divide it to 3 portions.
7.
Add
different
colour
to each portion separately.
8.
Add
more melted
ghee
to the laddu
mixture
if necessary.
Mix
well by hands and
make
small balls (Laddus).
9. Everybody like this laddu for its
taste
and
colour
.
Note
• In one laddu two
colours
can be used.
•
Prepare
one small ball of one
colour
, stuff it and
prepare
laddu with another coloured
mixture
.
• Once when it is
cut
two
colours
are visible.
