Vanilla Cake

Ingredients
•
Cake flour
- 1 ½ cups
•
Baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Salt
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Unsalted butter
- ½ cup
•
Sugar
- 1 cup
•
Eggs
- 2
•
Vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon
•
Whole milk
- ½ cup
Method
1. In a bowl,
add
cake flour
,
baking
powder
and
salt
.
Mix
well.
2.
Add
butter
gradually and beat the
mixture
until it resembles coarse sand.
3.
Add
sugar
gradually and beat the
mixture
until it resembles fine damp sand.
4. Beat in the
eggs
.
5.
Add
vanilla
and
milk
, beat well. Do not beat more than required.
Keep
aside.
6. In a
baking
pan, line the sides with
baking
paper.
Pour
the
cake
mixture
.
7.
Bake
at 400 degrees farenheit for about 35 minutes until an inserted wooden skewers in the center comes out clean.
8. Cool
cake
on a wire rack for 5 minutes.
9.
Remove
from
cake
pan and
serve
.
