Tomato Thogayal

Ingredients

• • Tomatoes - 4
• • Garlic - 4 flakes
• • Red chillies - 3
• • Salt - as required
• • Tamarind paste - 1 teaspoon
• • Oil - as required
• • Mustard seeds (for seasoning) - ½ teaspoon

Method

• 1. Blanch tomatoes in hot water and remove outer skin.
• 2. Grind with fried chillies, garlic, tamarind and salt. Fry again after grinding.
• 3. Season with mustard seeds and serve with hot cooked rice and ghee.
