Tomato Garlic Bhath

Rice

Green chillies

Whole garlic
- 3
•
Tomatoes

Cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon

Ghee
- 1 teaspoon
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Turmeric powder
- ΒΌ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Coconut (grated)
- 2 tablespoons
Ingredients For Seasoning

Mustard seeds
- as required
•
Black gram dal
- as required
•
Bengal gram dal
- as required
•
Curry leaves
- as required
Method
1.
Cook
rice
and allow it to cool completely.
2. Separate the grains.
3.
Cut
green chillies
into long pieces.
4.
Peel
garlic
, separate the flakes and
cut
into round, even pieces.
5.
Cut
tomatoes
into I inch square pieces.
6.
Heat
oil
,
add
seasonings
with
curry leaves
and
cashew nuts
.
7.
Add
green chillies
and
garlic
.
8. When it turns into golden brown
add
tomatoes
and
fry
till it becomes soft.
9.
Stir
in
rice
,
salt
, and
turmeric powder
.
10.
Mix
well and garnish with grated
coconut
.
