Ingredients

Par boiled rice
- 2 cups
•
Thuar dal
- ¾ cup
•
Urad dal
- ¼ cup
•
Rock salt
- 2 teaspoons
Method
1.
Soak
rice
for 2 hours.
2.
Soak
both
dal
together for 2 hours.
3.
Grind
dal
till smooth and frothy.
4.
Grind
rice
to fine rawa consistency.
5.
Mix
both
ground paste
together with
salt
.
6. Allow to ferment for 15 to 20 hours.
7.
Pour
or greased idli plates and steam.
8.
Serve
hot with onion chutney.
