Tandoori Chicken Tikka

Ingredients
•
Boneless chicken (cut into 2 inch pieces 8-12)
- 500 grams
•
Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons
•
Curd
- ¼ cup
•
Malai/Cream
- 3 tablespoons
•
Black salt
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Cumin powder (roasted)
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Soya sauce
- ½ teaspoon
•
Orange or red colours
- few drops
•
Salt
- as required
Ingredients For Garnishing

Lemon juice
- as required
•
Chaat masala
- as required
•
Onion rings
- as required
Method
1.
Wash
the
chicken
pieces and pat dry on a kitchen towel.
2. In a bowl
mix
curd
,
ginger garlic paste
,
malai
,
black salt
,
cumin powder
,
soya sauce
(to give a dark
colour
) orange-red
colour
and
salt
.
3.
Add
chicken
.
Keep
aside in a cool place to
marinate
for 3-4 hours.
4.
Heat
a gas oven or barbecue.
Cook
for 15-20 min, turning once in between with help of tongs.
5. Baste (moisten) with little
oil
if needed.
6. To
cook
in an electric oven, set temp to 180°C-200°C.
7. Place the
chicken
on the wire rack (lower center) with a drip tray below.
Cook
till tender.
8.
Serve
hot garnished with chat
masala
,
lemon juice
&
onion rings
.
