Ingredients
•
Chiroti rawa
- 1 cup
•
Salt
- a pinch
•
Ghee (for deep frying)
- as required
•
Sugar (powdered)
- 2 tablespoons
Ingredients For The Filling
•
Cashew nuts (powdered)
- ¼ cup
•
Sugar (powdered)
- ½ cup
•
Desiccated coconut
- ¼ cup
Method
1.
Mix
"For the filling"
ingredients
together along with little cardamom
powder
and
keep
it aside.
2.
Mix
salt
with
rawa
,
add
water
gradually and knead to a stiff dough.
3.
Keep
closed under a wet cloth for 1½ hours.
4. Knead again till it becomes pliable.
5.
Prepare
lemon sized balls.
6.
Roll
out into thin chapatis.
7. Deep
fry
in moderately hot
ghee
in reduced flame till it bubbles.
8. Turn over gently,
fry
quickly and
remove
.
9.
Drain
excess
oil
and
keep
on a flat plate.
10.
Spread
little filing on top length wise at one corner and
roll
it quickly from one end to the other. (like Swiss
roll
).
11. Sprinkle little powdered
sugar
on top.
