Stroganoff Chicken

Ingredients
•
Chicken (cut into bite size pieces)
- 1 kg
•
Mushroom (sliced)
- 200 grams
•
Onion (chopped)
- 1
•
Oil
- 2 teaspoons
•
Curd
- 1 cup
•
Maida
- 2 tablespoons
•
Salt
- 1 ΒΌ teaspoons
•
Red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Coriander leaves (for garnishing)
- as required
Method
1.
Heat
oil
in a nonstick
frying
pan or sauce pan.
Add
onion
and saute for 1-2 minutes.
2.
Add
chicken
,
salt
and
red chilly powder
.
3.
Fry
on high
heat
for 2-3 minutes.
4. Lower
heat
and
cover
.
Cook
covered for 5-6 minutes or till
chicken
is nearly tender.
5.
Add
mushrooms
.
Cook
covered on low
heat
for another 4-5 minutes.
6.
Mix
maida
to
curd
well so that no lumps remain.
7.
Add
to
chicken
.
Cook
uncovered till sauce thickens.
8.
Serve
hot sprinkled with fresh
coriander leaves
.
