Sorshe Diye Kundri

Ingredients
•
Tendli/Ivy gourd (halved lenghtwise)
- 250 grams
•
Mustard paste
- 2 tablespoons
•
Oil
- 1 tablespoon
•
Kalonjis/Onion seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sugar
- as required
Method
1.
Heat
oil
in a non-stick pan and
add
Kalonji
(
onion seeds
) and sauté till fragrant.
2.
Add
Tendli
(
Ivy gourd
) and sauté for a minute.
Cook
for a few minutes by
covering
it,
stirring
once in a while.
3.
Add
turmeric powder
,
salt
and
sugar
and
mix
well.
4.
Cook
again for two minutes more by
covering
it.
5. Now
add
mustard paste
and
mix
well.
Cook
for another minute and
serve
hot.
