Ingredients

Butter (for frying)
- as required
•
Bread (sliced)
- 2 pieces
•
Water
- 400 milliliters
•
Sugar
- 1 cup
•
Cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Milk
- 1 liter
•
Rose water
- 1 tablespoon
•
Saffron
- as required
•
Cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon
•
Almonds
- 1 tablespoon
•
Raisins
- 1 tablespoon
•
Pistachios
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Slice
bread
into triangles. In a pan,
add
butter
and toast the
bread
pieces on both sides.
Keep
aside.
2. In a saucepan,
add
sugar
and
water
. After the
sugar
syrup thickens,
add
cardamom powder
.
3.
Dip
the toasted
bread
slices in the
sugar
syrup until the liquid is absorbed.
Keep
aside.
4. In a saucepan,
add
milk
. After the
milk
thickens,
add
rose water
and
saffron
.
Mix
well.
Keep
aside.
5. Place the soaked
bread
pieces on a plate and
pour
sufficient thickened
milk
on top.
6.
Add
cashew nuts
,
almonds
,
raisins
and
pistachios
.
7.
Serve
and enjoy!
