Scrambled Egg Toast

Ingredients

Eggs
- 2
•
Bread
- 2 slices
•
Spring onions (chopped)
- 2
•
Tomato (chopped)
- 1
•
Green dhania (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Green chillies (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Pepper
- as required
•
Salt
- as required
•
Red chilly powder
- as required
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Malai/Cream
- 1 tablespoon
(optional)
Method
1.
Heat
oil
and
add
chopped
onion
.
2.
Fry
till transparent.
3.
Add
tomatoes
and
cook
till soft.
4.
Add
dhania
and
green chillies
.
5. Beat the
eggs
in a bowl.
6.
Add
salt
,
pepper
and
red chilly powder
.
7.
Reduce
flame.
8.
Pour
the
eggs
over the
tomato
.
9.
Cook
on medium
heat
,
stirring
all the time.
10.
Cook
till soft.
11. Do not over
cook
.
12.
Add
malai
if you like your
scramble
soft.
13.
Mix
and
remove
from fire .
14. To
serve
for
break
fast, toast the slices.
15.
Spread
the
scramble
.
16. For snacks
cut
the
bread
slices into 4 squares and
fry
in hot
oil
to a golden brown colour.
17. The
bread
slice
may also be toasted and
cut
into 4 squares.
18.
Spread
some scrambled
egg
on the
bread
piece and dot with a pea or
chilly
sauce.
19.
Serve
hot.
