Savoury Egg Paniyaram

Ingredients
•
Eggs
- 6
•
Onions (small)
- ½ cup
•
Milk
- 2 teaspoons
•
Green chilly paste
- 1 teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Cumin and pepper powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Bengal gram dal (soaked)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Ghee/Oil
- 4 tablespoons
Method
1.
Peel
onions
and
cut
finely.
2. Beat four
eggs
and two yolks together.
3. Beat separately another two
eggs
whites till stiff.
4.
Soak
bengal gram dal
half an hour before in little
water
.
5.
Drain
the
water
and
add
to the beaten
egg
mixture
.
6.
Mix
onion
,
green chilly paste
with
salt
,
garam masala
, cumin,
pepper
powder
and
milk
.
7.
Mix
the
egg
whites carefully with the
mixture
.
8. Meanwhile
heat
the paniyaram pan with one teaspoon of
oil
in each cup.
9. When it is ready
pour
the
egg
mixture
in all the cups using a shallow· laddie.
10. When the
egg
sets, carefully turnover with a spoon.
11.
Add
little more
ghee
to the sides.
12. When the
egg
is cooked completely,
remove
from fire and
serve
with chutney.
