Sauted Liver

Ingredients
•
Sheep's liver (cut into slivers)
- 400 grams
•
Onions (cut into rings)
- 2
•
Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons
•
Tomato ketchup
- 3 teaspoons
•
Tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon
•
Soya sauce
- ½ teaspoon
•
Black pepper (coarsely powdered)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Vinegar
- ½ teaspoon
•
Sugar
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 3 tablespoons
Method
1.
Heat
oil
in a nonstick
frying
pan.
Fry
the
onion
rings until golden brown.
2.
Drain
&
keep
aside.
3.
Marinate
the
liver
slivers in the
worcestershire sauce
,
tomato ketchup
,
tomato puree
,
soya sauce
,
black pepper
,
vinegar
,
sugar
and
salt
for 10 minutes.
4.
Cook
in the hot
oil
for 6-7 minutes until tender & the colour of the
liver
changes.
5. Garnish with the fried
onion
rings and
serve
immediately with mashed potatoes & hot toast.
