Sabudana Vada

Ingredients
•
Sagos/Sabudanas (soaked)
- 1 cup
•
Potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
- ½ cup
•
Peanuts (roasted and coarsely crushed)
- ½ cup
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon
•
Sugar
- 2 teaspoons
•
Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup
•
Ginger (grated)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil (for deep frying)
- as required
Method
1. In a bowl,
add
soaked
sago
(
sabudana
),
potato
,
peanuts
,
green chilly
,
lemon juice
,
sugar
,
coriander leaves
,
ginger
and
salt
.
Mix
well.
2. Divide the
mixture
into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small flat circle.
Keep
aside.
3.
Heat
the
oil
in a kadhai.
Deep-fry
the vadas on a medium flame until they turn golden brown on both sides.
Drain
on absorbent paper.
4.
Serve
hot with fresh curds and green chutney. Enjoy!
