Sabudana Ladoo

Ingredients
•
Sabudanas/Tapioca pearls
- 1 cup
•
Ghee
- 1 tablespoon
•
Cashew nuts
- 10
•
Dessicated coconut
- ¾ cup
•
Sugar (powdered)
- ½ cup
•
Cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Nutmeg powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Ghee
- 5 tablespoons
Method
1.
Heat
pan in a low flame,
roast
the
sabudana
(
tapioca pearls
) until they will swell slightly, become crunchy and light brown.
2. The
roasting
process will take approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
3.
Remove
from
heat
and allow the the
pearls
to cool.
4.
Grind
to a fine
powder
in a dry grinder.
5. In a pan,
add
ghee
.
Fry
cashew nuts
until they
start
to brown.
Add
coconut
, powdered
sabudana
, powdered
sugar
,
cardamom
powdered and
nutmeg powder
.
Mix
well.
6.
Add
ghee
and
mix
well.
Remove
from
heat
.
7. While the
mixture
is still luke warm,
roll
into medium sized balls.
8.
Serve
and enjoy!
