Roast Chicken

Ingredients
•
Chicken (prepare: trim any fat on the chicken)
- 1 kg
•
Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons
•
Ginger paste
- ½ tablespoon
•
Garlic paste
- ½ tablespoon
•
Soya sauce
- 2 tablespoons
•
Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon
•
Onions (sliced)
- 2
•
Chilly sauce
- 2 tablespoons
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
•
Pepper
- 2 teaspoons
Ingredients For Garnishing
•
Tomatoes (sliced)
- as required
•
Capsicums
- as required
Method
1.
Mix
all
ingredients
except
onions
, in a large bowl.
2. With a sharp knife, give deep cuts all over the
chicken
.
3.
Mix
all
ingredients
of the
marinade
in a big pan.
4.
Drain
the
chicken
and
mix
it well with the
marinade
, rubbing the
marinade
well, inside and outside the
chicken
. Leave for 2-3 hours.
5. Place on a greased tray.
Bake
at 180°C for 15 minutes. (Place only the
chicken
on the tray. Leave extra
marinade
behind).
6.
Mix
extra
marinade
with the sliced
onions
and leave it for 15 minutes.
7. Overturn
chicken
. Place marinated sliced
onion
on the sides of the
chicken
.
8. With a brush, lightly brush
chicken
with 1 Teaspoon
oil
.
9.
Bake
again for 20 minutes at 150°C or till well done and brown.
10. Garnish with sliced
tomatoes
,
capsicums
and
serve
hot.
