Rice Flour Upma

Ingredients

Oil
- 4 tablespoons
•
Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Urad dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Chana dal
- 1 teaspoon
•
Peanuts
- ¼ cup
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Ginger
- 1 inch
•
Asafoetida
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
•
Onions
- ½ cup
•
Carrots (scraped)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt
- 1 teaspoon
•
Butter milk
- 1 cup
•
Rice flour
- 1 cup
•
Coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Mix
rice flour
,
butter milk
and
water
together well.
Keep
aside.
2. In a pan,
heat
oil
.
Add
mustard seed
,
urad dal
,
chana dal
,
peanuts
,
green chilly
,
ginger
,
asafoetida
,
curry leaves
,
onions
,
carrot
and
salt
.
Mix
well until cooked.
3.
Add
rice flour
&
butter milk
mixture
.
Add
2 tablespoons of
oil
.
Mix
well.
4.
Cover
with a lid and
cook
for 15 to 20 minutes.
Mix
often to avoid burning.
5. Garnish with chopped
coriander leaves
.
6.
Serve
hot with chutney. Enjoy!
